Lushira

Arwen

Both my kitties are rescued when they were kits. Both are calicos.
Lushira is fat, long-haired, and scared of everything.
Arwen, or Piglet, is skinny, small, short-haired, and has no fear.

Tristan

Tristan was my first cat. Before this I was all about Doberman. I rescued Tristan when I was working at the Vet. He was an abandoned kitten someone found in a dumpster. He tested positive for Feline Leukemia and so nobody wanted him. I took him in as one of the many, many animals I rescue on a regular basis, but for some reason, he stuck with me. I had him for 7 years, before the Leukemia finally took him. He was a Maine Coon mix that acted more like a dog than a cat. He would come, sit, lay down, stand, roll over, and stay on command. He knew how to open doors, push open sliding glass doors and attack unsuspecting hands like no other. He was a true love and companion that I still miss dearly.

Max

Ever since I was little, playing with my collection of Hot Wheels, I've always loved the Firebird. That was one of my favorites. The other was the 1976 Corvette Stingray. I've owned quite a bit of vehicles already. My first being a 1974 Ford Pinto - Bright Orange, then a Burgundy 2001 Toyota Corolla, Silver 2001 Toyota 4-Runner, 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix, then finally, my 2002 Pontiac Trans Am with the WS6 Package - brand spanking new from the dealership. I had always wanted this car and it was so awesome to finally be able to bring one home. I don't know why I liked it so much, it's not the best handling, not the fastest...but it's so pretty and it represented America. Does that sound funny? lol I know a lot of people were shocked that I loved this car and bought one. I was constantly asked why I would buy an American Muscle Car and not a little rice car like all the other Asians do. All I could say is that this was always the car that I loved when I was 5 playing with my Hot Wheels. I first came to America when I was four years old and it was a very difficult process. I remember many loooong days at the Immigration offices, I remember the tests to take to prove my worthiness, I remember them tearing up my citizenship papers to Taiwan when they finally granted me citizenship here. I really like it here in America and buying an "American Muscle Car" didn't seem odd to me...

Music

I love music. Life cannot be without lots and lots of music. I can play enough piano to be able to convince people I can play the piano for 3 minutes. I can play enough guitar to be amusing around the campfire after a day of dirt biking (it certainly helps if everyone's getting tanked as well). I can make no claim to having any talent or skill with my instruments - but I love it enough, and am passable enough to not offend too badly when I play. I just play for my own enjoyment so it's all good. I can't even read music, but I've developed my own style of tablature. Music in my life is definitely one thing I'll spend money on. I am looking forward to having some time when I can actually take lessons so I can play more.
